For well over a decade I’ve lived and worked in Seattle, WA as an art director of varying levels. I’ve worked at the scrappy, creative boutique, the international satellite with the largest clients in the biz and the mid-level independent. Every stop has been a fantastic experience full of challenges and growth: I’ve led pitches, rebranding efforts, photo shoots, TV shoots, web projects and mentoring teams. I’ve won pitches, successfully defended pitches and won at the highest international shows. I’ve also lost at local award shows, lost pitches, and lost my job. As a result of all of this I’m always seeking to improve: whether it’s working on design skills with a series of logos, learning new skills like editing software or growing my photography portfolio.When not working, you’ll find me outside, travelling to some distant place and volunteering with conservation efforts, camera in tow. Which probably means you won’t find me.
